PRAYER MINISTRY

At the Vine, we believe that all kingdom work is sustained by prayer; for, without God’s power, we can accomplish nothing (John 15:5). The mission of the Prayer Ministry is to pursue our powerful God through passionate and persistent prayer. God has promised to hear and respond to the cries of His people (Jeremiah 33:3), and we stand on that promise! Any member of the Vine who has a consistent daily prayer life and is committed to interceding for others is welcome to join our team!

Weekly Prayer Times

The Prayer Team meets every Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. in the Choir Room and every Sunday at 10:10 a.m. in the Chapel for corporate prayer. All members of True Vine are welcome to join us!

APRIL 1-7
Read:
Job 1:18-20

APRIL 8-14
Read
: Matthew 5:7
Meditate & Pray: Mercy is undeserved forgiveness. Pray that you will partner with God’s Word and surrender all stored buckets of hurts to Him.  In exchange, God will provide you with His outpouring of abundant mercies.

APRIL 15-21
Read
: Romans 12:19-21
Meditate & Pray: When you have been overcome by evil, there’s a great natural tendency to retaliate or to just ignore the offender’s needs.  But by following God’s Word, both you and your enemy will benefit. Pray that you choose to overcome evil through sincere acts of benevolence. Otherwise, you will be in violation of God’s command to overcome evil with good.

APRIL 22-30
Read
: Luke 23:34
Meditate & Pray: Often our offenders may not entirely understand the full impact of their actions.  Pray to obediently ‭follow Christ’s example of forgiveness, which was displayed on Calvary’s cross. Pray that God will bring them to repentance and forgive their sins.
