PRAYER MINISTRY

At the Vine, we believe that all kingdom work is sustained by prayer; for, without God’s power, we can accomplish nothing (John 15:5). The mission of the Prayer Ministry is to pursue our powerful God through passionate and persistent prayer. God has promised to hear and respond to the cries of His people (Jeremiah 33:3), and we stand on that promise! Any member of the Vine who has a consistent daily prayer life and is committed to interceding for others is welcome to join our team!

Weekly Prayer Times

The Prayer Team meets every Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. in the Choir Room and every Sunday at 10:10 a.m. in the Chapel for corporate prayer. All members of True Vine are welcome to join us!

JUNE 1-7
Read:
Romans 12:9 & John 13:35
Meditate & Pray: Your true badge of discipleship is love, which goes beyond pretense and politeness. (Love demands your time, resource, and personal involvement.)  Love is the catalyst God uses to draw others to Himself. Pray that God’s love will permeate your heart and dominate your entire being. Pray that even during the most challenging times, you will love what God loves, and hate what He hates.

JUNE 8-14
Read
: Philippians 4:9; 1 Corinthians 11:1; Ephesians 5:1-2
Meditate & Pray: God’s beloved children should imitate Him by walking in sacrificial love, which far exceeds just affection. The Father gave His Son, and the Son gave His life. The only remedy for today’s chaos is God’s peace.. Pray to truly reflect Christ-like love, behavior, and teachings, so that you can confidently tell others to follow you, as you follow Christ.

JUNE 15-21
Read
: Ephesians 2:10; Jeremiah 29:11; Philippians 2:13
Meditate & Pray: God has intentionally created you in Christ for good works.  He has placed you here, at this specific time, to fulfill His plans. Even your desire to do God’s will came strictly from Him. Pray to earnestly pursue God’s calling on your life.

JUNE 22-30
Read
: Proverbs 23:26; Galatians 5:1; Proverbs 16:3
Meditate & Pray: When we truly give our heart to God, He sets us free from the slavery of sin and equips us to stand firmly against even our fleshly desires, which try to enslave us again. Our eyes become opened to God’s ways, as we abide in His word. God will never bless our self serving plans. We are set free to serve Him.  Pray to constantly surrender all perceived rights and controls, as you work for Him.
