CHURCH
Deacons
Deacons under the leadership of the Pastor, serve the congregation in an effort to grow them spiritually and promote unity in the corporate body. We also serve by attending to their temporal needs to include but not limited to benevolence and visiting the sick. As Deacons, we are passionate about discipleship and are committed to the standard of ministry proclaimed by the written and preached Word of God.
Our Primary Responsibilities:
- Pray for and Support the vision of the Pastor.
- Prepare for and serve communion.
- Prepare for and assist with baptismal services.
- Oversee and administer Congregational Care.
- Visit, pray for and serve communion to homebound members.
- Oversee and administer the Benevolent Fund
- Manage access to the facility
Inward Reach Team
Members of this ministry are there to simply say a prayer, hold your hand and listen, or just make a phone call to let someone know they are loved and missed. We also reach out to those who are confined to their homes or who are residents of health care facilities; by praying for them, expressing love, concern, and encouragement, and meeting some of their needs.
Media Team
The mission of the Media Ministry is to maintain and operate the audio, video, duplication and lighting equipment in the sanctuary, as well as other areas of the church. In addition, they provide CD’s and DVD’s of our services with the hope of spreading the gospel beyond the church effecting a change in lives of all people to ultimately accept Jesus Christ.
Men’s Ministry “Brother to Brother”
Our mission is to develop, promote and support men in their Christian walk toward spiritual maturity. Additionally we hope to build camaraderie by providing activities for fellowship and service to the local church and our community. (Proverbs 27:17 and Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14)
Music Ministry
True Vine Ministries’ Praise Team and choirs serve to support the overall mission and vision of the Church and to magnify and glorify Christ through song. The music ministry serves to share the Good News to the lost, uplift and draw the congregation into praise and worship of the Lord, and to prepare hearts to receive the Word.
Small Groups Ministry
This ministry is designed to grow disciples who love, support, encourage, pray for and hold each other accountable for living out their Christianity in a smaller community.
Vine Life Youth Ministry
“Do not let anyone treat you as if you are unimportant because you are young. Instead be an example to the believers with your words, your actions, your love, your faith, and your pure life.” I Timothy 4:12 – NCV
The Vine Life Youth Ministry is committed to teaching young people about the love of Jesus Christ and how important it is for them to have a relationship with God. We help them mature in Christ through biblical teaching and encourage them to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. We provide a safe, loving, nurturing and fun filled environment for the young people.
Women’s Ministry “TLC – Touching Ladies 4 Christ”
The purpose of our True Vine Women’s Ministry is to uplift, encourage, and motivate women to live the life that God has called for them to live. We encourage women to grow in their Faith by spending time in the Word of God, through service by sharing and caring for the needs of others, and by developing and strengthening friendships with other women!
Women’s Ministry’s vision is to seek Him continually, serve Him faithfully, and share Him boldly.
OUTREACH MINISTRY
Bereavement Team
This team will work together to assist the bereaved family in the planning of the funeral for their loved one. The goal is to meet the needs of families with sincerity and compassion while showing support through each step of the arrangements. They will also be an avenue of communications for the family’s feedback to the Pastor. Team members will communicate clearly the guidelines, policies, procedures and ministerial resources so the family can take full advantage of the services available to them at the time of the death.
Compassionate Care
The Mission of Compassionate Care Team is to assist people in and around our community with love and compassion. We stand ready to help and minister physically and spiritually to people in their time of need.The Apostle John wrote: But who so hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 1 John 3:17 (KJV).We also have additional referral information for needs beyond our scope of help.
HOSPITALITY
Culinary Arts Team
“Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:1-2 NIV
The Culinary Arts Ministry oversees the operation and maintenance of the church’s kitchen and fellowship hall. This ministry serves to plan, prepare, and serve delicious, nutritious meals and refreshments for church functions, such as community meals, funeral repasts, and various church-sponsored fellowship events in an atmosphere of Christian hospitality.

Next Steps Team members are responsible for helping new members transition smoothly into the family! They coordinate our growth track, which is designed to orient and train as well as assist new members in the discovery of their spiritual gifts.
GUEST SERVICES MINISTRY
This ministry–which consists of our Parking Lot, Greeters, Ushers, Welcome Desk, and Host Teams–is committed to ensuring that all guests to True Vine feel welcomed and loved! Additionally, we strive to create an environment where visitors can relax and be free to worship God.
Greeter Team
The Greeter Team is committed to the awesome task of being servant vessels through which God’s love freely flows to all entering True Vine’s doors. We stand alert and ready to deliver genuine smiles and friendly greetings to both guests and members. We strive for nothing less than to display Christ-like attitudes at all times. With that goal in mind, we will assist other teams in creating a conducive atmosphere for passionate worship and one in which the preached Gospel will be met with receptive hearts.
Parking Lot Team
The Parking Lot Team ensures that guests feel welcome from the moment they pull into True Vine’s parking lot.
Ushers
The Usher’s mission is to provide our guests and members with a comfortable worship experience in the house of the Lord. Their responsibilities include seating, providing programs and offering envelopes, and being attentive to the needs of the congregation and pulpit.
